Campervan for sale

After a trip around Europe in our lovely ford Camper conversion, sadly it's time to let her go, and we are now off to Australia & New-Zealand.

This is a great Ford Transit camper van. It's a Long wheel base with a High roof top, silver colour, very nice conversion which was done by the previous owner.
We drove with it all around Europe - France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland & Spain - we never had any problems with it.

It is a 2006 model which is a newer model than most of the other ford transit conversions you find on Ebay. This means it has 6 forward gears
and it is truly a strong machine.

When we bought it we applied to DVLA who approved the conversion so on the log book it says 'Motor Caravan' not 'Panel-Van', which is important for insurance purposes.

In April 2011 it got a full service including new drive belt & tensioner, new front break discs, pads and wheel bearings.

As for the living area: The sofa opens to a double bed made of thick foam and springs for extra comfort, the upholstery is very high quality water resistant fabric. The bed-base turns into a dining table, the end kitchen has a separate hob and separate sink with a tap connected to a cold water tank. Plenty of cupboards and storage space all round, as well as bike rack at the rear of the van.fridge is 3-way (240v/12v/gas) though we only ever used it on 240v (hook-up), also Leisure Batterywith Zig-unit to charge it while you are hooked up, TV and Ariel. Above the kitchen is a large sky light, allowing lovely sun light in and views of the stars at night.

For extra security there is a fitted immobilizer in the engine in addition to the manufacturer immobilizer.
Also included in the sale: Hook-up cable, 2 picnic chairs, levellers, 240v fan (for hot days), 240v heater (for cold nights), crockery & cutlery set, and the van is ready-kitted for Europe. (including Swiss motorways tax for 2011 sticker).

We also have Awning & Portable loo which we got from the previous owner. Buyer can collect them if required from Inverness area (where we stored them at friends house).

Just got the van a new MOT (20/7/2011) , so 12 months MOT now included, for your assurance and 8 months of road tax.

Body is in good condition apart for a few stone chips and minor scratches, but nothing major. The Van is in clean & well maintained condition, just insure it and you are ready to go.

We travelled far and viewed a lot to find the best van when we bought this, and saw a lot of poor comparisons. This van is in a class above the rest of the ford transit conversions out there, very neat, clean conversion.
