Labyrinth Walks

The Labyrinth is an archetype found in many
religious traditions in one form or another, yet it is open to all
people as a non-denominational, cross-cultural blueprint for
wellbeing. By walking the labyrinth we are able to experience
part of a mystical tradition. Today, Labyrinths are used
world-wide as a way to quiet the mind, recover a balance in life,
and encourage meditation, insight & self-reflection. The practice
of Labyrinth walking integrates the body with the mind and the
mind with the spirit and therefore may assist in stress-reduction,
and help discover innovation and celebration.
I work with a 28’ canvas with a painted labyrinth on it. It is a
smaller-modified version of the labyrinth laid in the floor of
Chartres Cathedral in France, where I was trained to become a
Labyrinth facilitator with Rev. Dr. Lauren Artress, founder of
Veriditas. I can offer this work in different settings such as:
medical centers, churches, schools, prisons, and
community/retreat centers.
or workshops which may include presentation, ritual and time for
meditative reflection and creative expression.
